MANILA, PHILIPPINES - The largest Filipino Pre-need Deathcare company: St. Peter Group, together with Filipino Tech Startup: Kezar Atlas Technologies launched the St. Peter Mobile Application for the public on November 15, 2019.
The St. Peter Mobile Application, which is available for both Android and iOS, aims to modernize the funeral industry with innovative features such as “St. Peter’s Gate”, that creates a profile for the deceased loved one to receive messages and prayers online and “E-Burol Funeral Viewing”, that allows families and friends to view St. Peter Chapel wakes from anywhere in the world.
Being the leader in the funeral industry in the Philippines, the St. Peter Group leadership believes that it is their responsibility as a company to push for more innovations.
“The St. Peter leadership should be commended on their drive to improve their services, even though they already have a huge market share in their industry.” Atlas Technologies General Manager Edward Solicito said.
The St. Peter Group also has the largest network of memorial chapels in the country with over 170 sites available for their clients; all of those individual sites may be contacted through the St. Peter Mobile Application.
“The features that we included in the mobile application are some of the most advanced technologies available today, but we balanced it with a very intuitive user interface because the team understands that most of the people that will use our app is above average age.” According to Lead UI Designer Christian Casalme.
Kezar Atlas Technologies had been working closely with the St. Peter Group to develop this mobile application as quickly as possible, being able to release the first version of this application in just 60 days! This project was led by Ms. Jenny Delos Santos, Kezar CEO Edward Solicito, Atlas Lead Programmer Jesrael Cruz, Atlas Lead QA/QC Diether Tapat, and Lead UI Designer Christian Casalme.
“Mobile applications are the future. The day where everything can be done at home using just your phone is fast approaching! It is very important that companies, even the market leaders, start taking steps to address how they will compete in this new landscape” Solicito said.
Kezar Atlas is set to launch 3 corporate applications in 2019, with an expected combined user base of around 50,000 users.
