Kezar Innovations Launches Trakaro

Kezar Innovations and Trakaro Team after a successful launch event for their new mobile application.

MAKATI CITY, September 27, 2018 – Kezar Innovations Pte. Ltd., a Filipino design and development firm, launched their first mobile application called Trakaro: Sustainable Travels today at the Asian Institute of Management. Trakaro is an online sustainability rating platform for hotels, restaurants, and other establishments using its proprietary technology called the Fylla Algorithm. Through Trakaro, travelers can now look for sustainable establishments, contact them, and book their services in no time.

Kezar officially launched Trakaro at the place where it was born. AIM’s Center for Tourism, headed by their Executive Director, Prof. Fernando Martin Roxas, posed a challenge on how to promote sustainability in our tourism industry. Out of all the teams that competed in a hackathon competition held last year by Dr. Andrew L. Tan Center for Tourism of the Asian Institute of Management, Trakaro won. Along with their winnings, AIM’s Center of Tourism granted the team seed funding to start the development of Trakaro.

“I have never met two people as hard-working as these two,” said, Terry Faris, Chief Operating Officer of Asian Institute of Management – Scientific Research Foundation and mentor to Edward Solicito, CEO of Kezar Innovations, and Paul Galacan, CFO of Kezar Innovations, the founders of Trakaro. They envisioned the mobile app to be the best online platform in terms of sustainability in the tourism industry.

Android users can now download Trakaro: Sustainable Travels for free in the Google Playstore while the iOS version of the app will be released in November.
